Academic Requirements

To apply for the Master of Administrative Studies - Global Health and Human Services Administration program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Graduated from an accredited 4-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent.

2. Maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (“B”) in their undergraduate studies.

3. Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

4. For students from India: 3-year degrees are considered equivalent to a 4-year degree if:

The applicant’s overall standing in the degree is 1st Class/Division, AND
The awarding institutions have been accredited by India’s National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A or better, OR the awarding institution is designated an Institution of National Importance, such as the Indian Institute of Technology.

5. Application Deadlines:

Fall (September) Term: April 30
Winter (January) Term: August 31
Summer (May) Term: December 31

6. Required Documents:

Attested or official transcripts, academic records, diplomas, national examination results, certificates, or degrees received from all post-secondary institutions. If the documents are not in English, a certified translation is required.
Two (2) recommendation letters (optional).
A copy of the information page in your valid passport.
Resume (recommended).

Language Requirements

International applicants are required to submit a copy of qualifying results from an acceptable English Proficiency test as part of their application for admission. Official scores need to be reported before the Letter of Acceptance is issued.

Students with English scores equivalent to an IELTS Academic 6.5 or higher across all bands will not be required to take the English Placement Test (EPT). Students taking online versions of IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and iTEP are not exempted from taking EPT.

For admission to FDU master’s programs:

IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0 is acceptable.
Students may need to take a few English courses as part of their main program.
Statement of Purpose, résumé/portfolio, and recommendation letters are optional.
