Fanshawe's Electrical Engineering Technician program is a comprehensive two-year Ontario college diploma designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge in electrical fundamentals, automation, and power generation and distribution. Throughout the program, students will work towards obtaining an AutoCAD certification, which is integral to their training. Graduates will gain confidence in wiring both industrial and residential projects, and will also develop expertise in hydraulic/pneumatic systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial automation. This program prepares students for a dynamic and in-demand career in the electrical engineering field.
