Program Overview

The Massage Therapy program at Centennial College is designed to equip students with both fundamental and advanced skills necessary to become successful massage therapists. This program emphasizes professionalism and an evidence-based approach to assessment, treatment planning, and implementation. It is recognized for its rigorous curriculum within the School of Community and Health Studies, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application through in-class lectures, lab experiences, and hands-on training in an onsite public clinic as well as offsite outreach placements. Students will learn to utilize proper assessment tools and techniques to address various conditions affecting the body, while also focusing on maintaining overall wellness and physical health.

 

Note: The compressed delivery format of the Massage Therapy program includes summer semesters, allowing for an accelerated learning experience.

The Massage Therapy (Compressed Delivery) program is structured to be completed in 2 years over the course of 6 semesters. This program is designed to provide a comprehensive education in massage therapy, integrating both theoretical and practical components. Key features of the program structure include:
