Program Overview

The Massage Therapy program at Centennial College is designed to equip students with both fundamental and advanced skills necessary to become successful massage therapists. This program emphasizes professionalism and an evidence-based approach to assessment, treatment planning, and implementation. It is recognized for its rigorous curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application through in-class lectures, lab experiences, and hands-on training in an onsite public clinic as well as offsite outreach placements. Students will learn to utilize proper assessment tools and techniques to address various conditions affecting the body's lymph, muscle, nerve, fascia, and joints, while also focusing on maintaining overall physical health, function, and mobility.

Program Structure

The Massage Therapy program is structured as a compressed program that spans 2 years and consists of 6 semesters. This unique format allows students to complete their studies in a shorter time frame, including summer semesters. The program is offered at the Morningside Campus and is available for both domestic and international students. Students have the opportunity to engage in various program options, including:
