Program Overview

Centennial College's Architectural Technology (Fast-Track)(Optional Co-op) program is designed for qualified graduates with a university degree in architecture, including those from foreign institutions. This program allows students to gain direct admission into the third semester of the three-year Architectural Technology program, enabling them to earn their diploma in just four academic semesters. Throughout the program, students will utilize state-of-the-art computer technology to prepare designs, construction drawings, specifications, and reports necessary for effective communication with clients, builders, and approval authorities. The curriculum includes practical activities such as preparing drawings for various building types, including commercial, institutional, and multi-use structures.

Program Structure

The Architectural Technology (Fast-Track)(Optional Co-op) program spans a total of 2 years and consists of 4 semesters. The program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and online learning experiences. Students have the option to participate in a co-op program, which provides valuable hands-on experience in the field. This co-op option allows students to complete two work terms, enhancing their practical skills and professional network while they study.
