The Business Administration, Diploma - Marketing Option program at Camosun College offers students a comprehensive education in business principles with a focus on marketing. Starting in September, January, or May, students will develop essential practical skills necessary for success in various marketing roles. Graduates will be well-prepared to enter the workforce in diverse environments, including entrepreneurial enterprises, not-for-profits, government, and community tourism. This program also provides credit towards the Bachelor of Business Administration programs at Camosun and offers transfer opportunities to other institutions.

Program structure

The Business Administration, Diploma - Marketing Option program is designed to be completed in a 2-year timeframe for full-time students. The program structure includes:

  • 20 courses that cover foundational business concepts and marketing strategies.
  • Options for full-time or part-time study, accommodating various student needs.
  • Co-op and internship opportunities that allow students to gain practical experience while studying.
  • Classes are predominantly held at the Interurban campus, with both evening and daytime options available.

Students can exit the program after the first year with a Certificate in Business Administration or continue to complete the full diploma in the second year, which includes advanced marketing courses.
