Academic Requirements

For the Bachelor of Science - Neuroscience (Honours) program, the following Academic Requirements apply:

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.

International students must provide a Senior Secondary school credential appropriate for entry to university in their home country.
International applicants are required to have an academically rigorous grade 12 year.
Prerequisites required for the program must be taken at the Grade 12 university-preparatory level (or equivalent).
Applicants may be required to submit course outlines for prerequisite evaluation.
A minimum B- average is required for admission, although some programs may require a higher average.

Additionally, for international students, the following documents are required for preliminary assessment:

Final grades and results from secondary studies, as published by the respective institution or examining board.
For current students, final grades/results to date and predicted grades for in-progress studies are necessary.
Current international secondary school students may submit predicted grades, but progress school grades are preferred.

IELTS - Academic: overall 6.5, no band below 6.0
TOEFL iBT: overall 88, no band below 21
Duolingo: minimum score of 110
CAEL: overall 70, no band below 60
PTE: 58
IELP Level 5: Successful completion of Level 5 of the Brock Intensive English Language program
CAE (C1 Advanced): 176 minimum score
CPE (C2 Proficiency): 176 minimum score
IB: Completion of the International Baccalaureate diploma with English A
English Language Instruction: A minimum of three previous years of full-time study (non-ESL) where the primary language of instruction and evaluation was English, with strong grades in English and other humanities/social science secondary school courses.
