Program overview

The Combined Degree program at Ivey Business School allows students to earn two degrees simultaneously: an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (HBA) and an Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc). This unique interdisciplinary approach equips students with a robust understanding of both business and medical sciences, preparing them for diverse career paths. The program is designed to be completed in five years, providing a comprehensive educational experience that integrates the principles of business with the complexities of medical sciences. Program structure

The Combined Degree program is structured to span five years, allowing students to complete both degrees efficiently. The program is divided into two main phases:

  • Years 1 and 2: Students begin their studies in the Faculty of Science, focusing on the foundational courses required for the BMSc.
  • Year 3: Students transition into the HBA program, where they will start taking business courses.
  • Years 4 and 5: Students will continue to take a mix of business courses and required courses in the medical sciences, completing the requirements for both degrees.
