Academic Requirements

For the Architectural and Structural CADD and Graphics Technician (Architectural Option) program, applicants must meet the following Academic Requirements:

English Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English through various means, such as completing English Studies 12 (50%) or an equivalent.
Mathematics Requirement: One of the following math courses is required:
- Pre-Calculus 11 (50%)
- Foundations of Math 11 (50%)
- Workplace Math 11 (50%)
- Other acceptable BC and Yukon courses
- BCIT Math Trades Entry Assessment
International Applicants: This program is open to international students. A valid BCIT study permit is required prior to starting the program.
Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) Eligibility: This program does not meet the eligible field of study requirement (CIP) and is therefore not eligible for students to apply for a PGWP.
