Program Overview

The Human Resources Certificate at Bow Valley College is designed to immerse students in one of the most vital departments within any organization. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of human resources management practices and trends, focusing on aligning HR practices with organizational strategies. Program Structure

The Human Resources Certificate program is structured as follows:

  • Program Length: 2 Terms
  • Credits: A standard course load consists of five courses per term.
  • Time Commitment: This is a one-year certificate program. Students can maintain full-time status by enrolling in at least three courses per term. Taking fewer than five courses may extend the program duration.
  • Learning Options: All courses are available in-class and online, although not all courses are offered every term.
  • Work Integrated Learning: Students are required to complete two Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities prior to graduation.
