Program Overview
The University Transfer (Arts) program at Vancouver Community College (VCC) is designed for students who want to begin their university education in a supportive, cost-effective setting before transferring to a university. This pathway allows students to complete their first year of university-level Arts courses at VCC and then transfer those credits to a university in British Columbia through the BC Transfer System.
This program is ideal for students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in areas such as Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Political Science, or other liberal arts disciplines. With smaller class sizes, approachable faculty, and personalized support, students gain a strong academic foundation while saving on tuition and adjusting to Canadian post-secondary life.
Program length: 12 months full-time (or up to 3 years part-time)
