The Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Bridging Pathway is tailored for Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) who hold a two-year Ontario College Diploma in practical nursing. This program enables RPNs to transition into a degree-prepared Registered Nurse role. It allows for direct entry into Year 3 of the Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Ottawa after completing six predetermined university courses. The program is designed to be completed in a compressed timeframe of 2.5 years, providing a pathway for RPNs to enhance their qualifications and expand their career opportunities in nursing.
