Academic Requirements

For students interested in the Bachelor of Science - Sustainable Agriculture And Food Systems - Small-Scale Farming (Honours) program, the following Academic Requirements apply:

Minimum GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (4.0 scale) is required for admission.
International Students:
- For students from Vietnam, a minimum average of 7.0 in Grade 12 (only academic courses are taken into average calculation) is required.
- English language proficiency test results are normally required for direct admission to undergraduate studies. However, students in the CBSE curriculum are exempted from providing English Language Proficiency test.
Application and Document Requirements:
- Use OUAC 105 or Trent direct application.
- Submit a secondary school in-progress or, if completed, final transcript. Normally, an in-progress transcript must include Grade 12, 1st term results.
- Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

Language Requirements

The Duolingo English Test: 115 (Note: Duolingo is not accepted by the School of Graduate Studies at Trent, and is only applicable for Undergraduate applications).
CAEL | CAEL On-line (starting July 2020): 60.
Cambridge B2 First, C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency (Certificate of Advanced English): 176, with no sub-score below 169.
Pearson PTE Academic In-person & Online: 59.
Trent Academic ESL Program: Academic English II with 75% in all courses.
