Academic Requirements

The Bachelor of Science - Nursing (Honours) - BScN program at St. Lawrence College has specific academic requirements for admission. Applicants must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or an equivalent qualification, along with the following prerequisites:

Minimum 75% overall average for six Grade 12U or 12M level courses, which must include:
- Grade 12 English at the U level
- Grade 12 Math at the U level
- Grade 12 Biology at the U level
- Grade 12 Chemistry at the U level
Alternatively, completion of a Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program, including St. Lawrence College's own Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program (1094), with a minimum 3.00 GPA or 75% overall average.

This program is highly competitive, and meeting the minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee admission. To be included in the competitive ranking, applications must be complete, including all transcripts and proof of enrollment.

For international students, it is important to note that transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases. Additionally, students with transcripts from outside of Canada should seek further information regarding their application process.

Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL):
- Overall 60 for all program types
Pearson Test of English - Academic:
- 55 for Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma programs
- 60 for Fast-Track, Graduate Certificate, and Degree programs
Duolingo (Temporarily accepted):
- Overall 110 with no sub score less than 85 for Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma programs
- Overall 120 with no sub score less than 95 for Fast-Track, Graduate Certificate, and Degree programs
