Seneca's Paralegal (Accelerated) program is designed to prepare students to become licensed paralegals in accordance with the Law Society Act. This accelerated program is ideal for those with prior education, allowing them to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to practice as paralegals. Students will learn about the general principles of law, legal ethics, and small business practices, equipping them to offer specified legal services directly to the public or work within various legal environments. Successful completion of the program qualifies graduates to write the Law Society of Ontario licensing examination, a crucial step for practicing as a paralegal in Ontario.
