The Opticianry (OPTC) program at Seneca is a comprehensive two-year diploma course designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills required to dispense vision devices, contact lenses, and eyeglasses. Throughout the program, students will delve into the science of sight, optics, and eye refraction in theory classes, while also gaining hands-on experience in laboratory settings. Graduates of this program will be eligible to register for the entry-to-practice examinations conducted by the National Alliance of Canadian Optician Regulators (NACOR), paving the way for a successful career in opticianry.
