Seneca's Behavioural Sciences (BHS) program is designed to equip students with essential intervention techniques applicable in various clinical areas, including gerontology, educational services, and mental health. This two-year program emphasizes the use of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), focusing on understanding, analyzing, and modifying human behavior. Students will engage in applied learning and field placements, gaining practical experience in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities. Graduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher can pursue further studies in Seneca’s Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology program, allowing them to earn a degree within two years after completing a summer bridging stream.

Program structure

The Behavioural Sciences program at Seneca is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a duration of 4 semesters. Depending on the start date, the program can be completed in either 24 months for a Fall start or 16 months for a Winter start. The program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining online coursework with in-person learning requirements. Key features of the program structure include:
