Program Overview

Apply to the Schulich School of Education and earn your Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree at Nipissing University, one of the leading education programs in Ontario. This program is designed to produce exceptionally well-prepared and professionally-minded teachers. The Schulich School of Education equips students with the necessary skills to teach in both traditional and non-traditional environments. Program Structure

The Dual Degree program combines an honours undergraduate degree in a chosen discipline with a Bachelor of Education degree. The program is structured as follows:

  • Program Length: 6 years
  • Practicum: 19 weeks of practicum experience
  • Community Leadership Experience: 60 hours
  • Divisions Available:
    • P/J – (J/K to Grade 6)
    • P/J – French as a Second Language
    • J/I – (Grades 4 to 10)
    • I/S – (Grades 7 to 12)
