Program Overview

The Palliative Care – Multidiscipline program at Niagara College is an intensive one-year program designed specifically for internationally trained nursing graduates. This program awards an Ontario College Graduate Certificate and is aimed at enhancing the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to care for clients with life-limiting illnesses. Graduates will be equipped to provide exemplary care to clients and their families, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual complexities associated with the dying process.

Program Structure

The Palliative Care – Multidiscipline program is structured to be completed in one year. The program includes a variety of learning experiences that prepare students for real-world applications in palliative care. Key features of the program structure include:
