The Civil Engineering Technology program at Mohawk College is designed to maintain society’s high standard of living through the design, construction, and operation of civil infrastructure systems. The Civil Engineering Technology program spans a duration of three academic years, consisting of periods of 8 months each, plus co-op opportunities. The program structure is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in civil engineering principles while allowing for hands-on experience through co-op placements.   • Fast track options that enable students to graduate four to eight months earlier compared to other civil technology co-op programs.
  • A common first semester that allows for mobility between five different program areas within the Building and Construction Sciences cluster.
  • Mandatory co-op work terms that provide valuable industry experience.
