Program Overview

No matter where your career takes you, a major in Organizational Behaviour will give you the tools and knowledge to lead creatively and work with others effectively. As an Organizational Behaviour student, you will gain insight into the complexities of human behaviour in organizations at both the individual and group levels. With courses in leadership, team management, negotiation, and more, you will develop a critical understanding of management along with practical skills to help you achieve your goals while working with others. These skills will be useful in group projects and professional relationships as well as in your future career. The program also allows you to specialize in one of the following social science disciplines: sociology, anthropology, or psychology.

The Organizational Behaviour Concentration will help you increase your awareness of behavioural issues across organizational settings and prepare you for graduate study in the behavioural sciences or any career that involves working with people.

Academic Requirements

For the Bachelor of Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources Management program, applicants must meet specific academic requirements to be considered for admission. The following points outline the essential criteria:

Applicants must have obtained a recognized academic pre-university diploma leading to university studies in their country. Studies in applied programs or at vocational or technical high schools are not normally eligible for admission consideration.
While the minimum requirement is the equivalent of a B+ average, most programs will have higher requirements.
Applicants are reviewed on their high school transcript with particular emphasis on yearly averages and results in prerequisite subjects. Prerequisite subjects must have been completed during the last two years of high school.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
For international students, particularly from Vietnam, the accepted credential is the Bàng Tót Nghiêp Phó Thông Trung Hoc (Upper Secondary School Graduation Certificate).
International students from other Asian countries must provide their respective high school diplomas that are recognized for university admission.

Language Requirements

Proof of English proficiency is an essential part of the application process for the Bachelor of Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources Management program at McGill University.
