Program Overview

The Computer Systems Technology program is a three-year advanced diploma designed to meet the high demand for skilled employees in the tech industry. Developed with extensive input from industry partners, this program offers students the opportunity to engage in hands-on projects that develop IT solutions. Students can also choose from two optional specializations in their third year: Networking and Systems. The program is eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), allowing graduates to gain valuable work experience in Canada after completing their studies.

Program Structure

The Computer Systems Technology program spans a duration of 3 years (6 semesters) and is offered in a full-time format. The program structure includes:

  • Two optional specializations in the third year: Networking and Systems.
  • Hands-on projects and case studies that can be completed independently or with industry partners.
  • Core courses on infrastructure virtualization and cloud computing.
  • Access to up-to-date networking, wireless, VoIP, and security lab equipment.
  • Opportunity to work on real-life projects with major IT and telecommunications service providers.

Students who begin the program in January will be required to attend classes during the summer months (May to August) to complete their studies on time.
