Program Overview

As the rate of Ontarians living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) continues to rise, the demand for skilled professionals is also increasing. The Autism and Behavioural Sciences graduate certificate program at Durham College is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to support individuals with ASD, as well as their families and caregivers. Students will learn to implement evidence-based interventions and develop expertise in creating effective behavioural intervention plans based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis. This program also emphasizes practical experience, providing students with valuable work opportunities through two supervised field placements.
