Program Overview

The Food Science Technology (Fast Track) program at Centennial College is designed for qualified college or university graduates, allowing them to gain direct admission into Year 2 (Semester 3) of a three-year advanced diploma program. This fast-track option enables students to complete their advanced diploma in just two years (four semesters). The curriculum integrates knowledge from various disciplines, including microbiology, chemistry, engineering, biology, and nutrition, to ensure that graduates are well-prepared to preserve, process, package, and distribute foods that are healthy, affordable, desirable, and safe to eat.

 

Program Structure

The Food Science Technology (Fast Track) program is structured to be completed in a duration of 2 years, consisting of 4 semesters. The program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and online learning experiences. Students have the option to participate in a co-op program, which provides valuable hands-on experience in the field. This program is located at the Morningside Campus of Centennial College.
