Program Overview

In the Broadcasting - Film, Television, Digital Media and Radio program, students are trained in traditional storytelling skills for the motion picture, television, and radio industries, as well as multiplatform digital production. Offered through Centennial College's School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design, this advanced diploma program equips students with the creative and technical skills necessary to thrive in the time-based media industry. Students will learn to develop original story content and manage the production process to bring their creative visions to life.

 

Program Structure

The Broadcasting - Film, Television, Digital Media and Radio program is structured over a period of three years, comprising six semesters. This comprehensive program includes various options for hands-on experience, such as:

  • Full-time industry field placement lasting 14 weeks
  • Opportunities to participate in student films and digital video productions
  • Exposure to HD broadcasting studios and digital film production
