Program Overview

The Cybersecurity & Network Technology Diploma program is designed to equip students with the essential skills needed to maintain and secure computer and network systems. This practical, career-oriented program emphasizes hands-on experience, enabling students to install, repair, and optimize systems to protect against cyber threats. Program Structure

The Cybersecurity & Network Technology Diploma program spans a duration of two years, consisting of four academic terms. Students have the option to graduate after the first year with a certificate in Cybersecurity & Network Support Technician, which prepares them for entry-level roles in the IT industry. The program structure includes:

  • Full-time study with the possibility of alternating between studies and paid work through co-op education.
  • Approximately 30 hours per week of program engagement, with half of that time spent in dedicated computer labs.
  • Access to modern instrumentation and facilities, allowing for extensive hands-on learning.
  • An optional internship component that provides valuable work experience and may lead to permanent employment.

Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of computer systems, networking, and cybersecurity principles, preparing them for a successful career in the field.
