Cambrian’s Heavy Equipment Technician program is designed to produce skilled mechanics ready to enter the workforce. With extensive hands-on training in a well-equipped shop, students will work on powerful off-road vehicles, including loaders, bulldozers, and scoop trams. The program emphasizes a strong culture of safety while covering essential skills such as basic maintenance, brakes, engine repairs, hydraulics, and electrical systems. The Heavy Equipment Technician program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a period of 4 semesters (2 years).
