Program Overview

The Business – Accounting program at Cambrian College is designed to set a solid foundation for a career in accounting. This program equips students with essential skills and hands-on experience necessary for entry-level positions in various sectors, including non-profits and corporations. In the first year, students follow a common curriculum shared with all accounting and business students, which prepares them for more specialized accounting principles and bookkeeping practices in the second year. Graduates of this program have the opportunity to advance directly into the third year of Cambrian’s Bachelor of Business Administration or Honours Bachelor of Business Administration programs, allowing them to further enhance their skills and knowledge.

The program is delivered in a flexible format, including options for campus and Hyflex learning, allowing students to choose the mode that best suits their needs.
