Program Overview

The Business – Finance program at Cambrian College is designed to help students build a successful career in the personal financial services sector. In the first year, students will acquire foundational business skills, which will be further developed in the second year with specialized knowledge in financial services industry regulations, credit and debt management, and financial analysis. The curriculum covers essential topics such as registered retirement and education plans, government benefit plans, economics, investments, taxation, law, and insurance. Additionally, students will enhance their interpersonal skills, which are crucial for excelling in the financial services field.
