Academic Requirements

To apply for the Bachelor of Arts in Music program at York University, students must meet specific Academic Requirements. It is important to note that York University is a highly selective institution, and merely meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. • International Students:
  • For students from Vietnam:
    • Must provide a Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông/Senior School Graduation Certificate.
  • For students from other Asian countries:
    • Must provide the equivalent secondary school graduation certificate as per their country's requirements.
• Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

Language Requirements

To gain admission to the Bachelor of Arts - Music program at York University, you must demonstrate English language proficiency by presenting a minimum proficiency score on an accepted language test. The following English language tests are accepted:

• TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): iBT score of 88
• IELTS (International English Language Testing Service): Academic Module score of 6.5
• Pearson PTE Academic: Minimum score of 60

• Duolingo: Minimum score of 120
