Program overview

The Combined Degree program at Ivey allows students to earn both a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Women's Studies. This unique program is designed to provide a comprehensive education that combines business acumen with a deep understanding of women's studies. Over the course of five years, students will engage in a curriculum that integrates both fields, preparing them for diverse career opportunities. This dual degree approach not only enhances academic knowledge but also equips students with the skills necessary to navigate complex social and business environments.

Program structure

The Combined Degree program is structured to span a total of five years. During the first two years, students will focus on foundational courses in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, specifically in Women's Studies, while also completing essential business courses. The program is divided into the following phases:

  • Years 1 and 2: Students are registered in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, following the normal curriculum for the Honors Specialization module.
  • Year 3: Students transition into the HBA program, where they begin to delve deeper into business studies.
  • Years 4 and 5: Students will be fully immersed in the combined program, taking a mix of business courses and required courses in Women's Studies.

This structure allows for a seamless integration of both disciplines, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their future careers.
