Program Overview
The ESL Pathways – Advanced program at Vancouver Community College (VCC) is designed for students who already have strong English skills and want to polish their academic English before moving on to college, university, or career programs in Canada. This program focuses on helping students develop the confidence and communication abilities needed to succeed in post-secondary studies or professional environments.
With a supportive classroom atmosphere and highly qualified instructors, students will work on improving their reading, writing, listening, and speaking through academic-style assignments and interactive activities. The program also helps students build the study habits and critical thinking skills expected in Canadian post-secondary education.
Program length: 15 weeks full-time
Program Structure
The 15-week full-time ESL Pathways – Advanced program includes 20 hours of instruction per week and is ideal for students preparing to enter academic programs or the workforce in Canada.
- Students will:
