Program Overview

The CAD and BIM Technician program at Vancouver Community College (VCC) is tailored for individuals interested in design, construction, and architecture. This hands-on program equips students with practical skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)—two of the most in-demand technologies in today’s construction and design industries.

Students will gain experience in creating 2D and 3D models, reading technical drawings, and collaborating on digital building projects. This program is ideal for those who are detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of the evolving world of digital construction. Program length: 10 months full-time
