Academic Requirements

To apply for the Bachelor of Science with Honours in Cell Biology at the University of Alberta, students must meet specific Academic Requirements. Here are the key points to consider:

For Vietnamese students, the graduation qualification from the Vietnam High School Graduation/University Entrance Exam (Thi Tot Nghiep THPT/Tuyen Sinh Cao Dang-Dai Hoc) is accepted.
A conditional offer can be obtained with school results from Grade 11 and the first semester of Grade 12.
To receive an unconditional offer, students need a minimum average of 4.9 in all five required subjects from the graduation exam. No subject can have a grade below 4, and Civic Education cannot be included in the admission average calculation.
For students applying to the Faculty of Engineering, a higher minimum average of 6.9 is required.
