Academic Requirements

To apply for the Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biological Sciences at the University of Alberta, students must meet the following Academic Requirements:

Completion of five academic subjects from high school (higher secondary education).
For Vietnamese students, a minimum average of 4.9 in all five required subjects in the Thi Tot Nghiep THPT/Tuyen Sinh Cao Dang-Dai Hoc is necessary to receive an unconditional offer. Note that no subjects can have a grade below 4, and Civic Education cannot be included in the admission average calculation.
Students applying to the Faculty of Engineering must achieve a minimum average of 6.9 in the same five subjects to qualify for an unconditional offer.

Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

It is advisable for students to apply as soon as possible to ensure they meet all necessary deadlines and requirements.
