The Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies (GCES) is tailored for students aiming to enhance their English language and academic skills, essential for success in TRU’s Master of Education (MEd) program. This program is particularly beneficial for international students who may need to complete up to five levels of TRU’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program before progressing to the MEd. Additionally, students who meet the English language requirements but need academic upgrading will complete three graduate-level courses in the GCES. This certificate serves as a standalone qualification, facilitating a smoother transition into the MEd program.
