The Creative Advertising (CAB) program at Seneca is designed for those looking to enter the dynamic world of advertising, where creativity meets strategy and storytelling meets persuasion. This two-year diploma program provides students with the essential skills needed to thrive in the advertising industry while gaining hands-on experience with real clients. Throughout the program, students will learn from award-winning industry experts, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future careers. The program offers a unique blend of creative and business streams, allowing students to tailor their education to their career goals.

Program structure

The Creative Advertising program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience over a duration of 4 semesters (2 years). The program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining both online and in-person learning. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Hands-on learning experiences with real clients.
  • Specialization options in either a creative stream or a business stream.
  • Development of a strong portfolio during the third semester.
  • Collaboration between creative and business streams in the fourth semester to create integrated advertising campaigns.
  • Opportunities to participate in national and international contests, such as the D&AD New Blood Awards and the Cannes Lions Awards.

This program meets Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility requirements, allowing international students to gain valuable work experience in Canada after graduation.
