Academic Requirements

For the Advanced Healthcare Leadership program, applicants must meet specific academic requirements to ensure they are prepared for the challenges of this postgraduate certificate. The following are the key Academic Requirements:

Successful completion of one of the following in an applied Healthcare or Life-Sciences field:
- 1-year post-secondary certificate (achieved inside Canada only)
- 2-year post-secondary diploma
- 4-year post-secondary degree
When applying, applicants will need to scan clear copies of:
- Official transcripts and certificate/diploma/degree from post-secondary education.
- If documents are in a language other than English, they must be officially translated.
Alternatively, an official WES or IQAS credential assessment showing successful completion of a Diploma or Degree is acceptable.

Applications can be submitted any time before the application deadline, but it is recommended to submit your application at least 90 days before the deadline. The application deadline for this program is August 1, 2025, with the term starting on September 1, 2025.

Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

Cambridge English Language Assessment - Minimum score of 169 in each section for B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency
TOEFL iBT - Minimum score of 20 in each section; effective Fall 2025: 70 overall score, with a minimum score of 17 in each section
Duolingo - Minimum overall score of 115, with a minimum score of 100 in each integrated subscore
Michigan English Test (MET) - Minimum overall score of 59
PTE Academic - Minimum overall score of 58
LanguageCert B2 Communicator Test - Minimum score of 38 in each section
