Program Overview
The Insurance program at Mohawk College is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the insurance industry. This Ontario College Diploma program focuses on both business and individual insurance planning, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to earn important industry credentials. With over 90% of graduates securing positions in the insurance field, the program boasts a strong reputation and a solid foundation in insurance principles. Students will also benefit from Mohawk's extensive experience in educating insurance professionals, which spans over 40 years.
Program Structure
The Insurance program is structured to be completed in a two-year format, consisting of two academic years (periods of 8 months each). Students have the option to participate in a co-op program, which provides valuable hands-on experience in the industry. Additionally, there is a Fast Track option available, allowing students to complete the diploma in just 16 months by attending four continuous semesters, including Winter, Spring/Summer, Fall, and Winter.
