The Lifestyle Media - Content Creation program is a one-of-a-kind graduate certificate offering designed to train specialized media professionals and content creators who are at the hub of lifestyle media.

In this program, you will effectively gain the tools necessary to create content in all facets of lifestyle media, including digital media, web, social media, and traditional media platforms. You will also gain the skills to work entrepreneurially using contemporary digital media platforms and technologies to market yourself as an independent brand.

Lifestyle Media – Content Creators are subject-matter experts who can take their passion and depth of knowledge to reach audiences who want to learn and be entertained. Successful lifestyle media content creators influence trends, are digital marketers and strategists, designers, social media content creators/managers, videographers, and writers who excel at storytelling from all aspects of Lifestyle Media.

Program Structure

The Lifestyle Media - Content Creation program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a period of 1 year (2 semesters). The program includes:

  • An interdisciplinary curriculum covering writing, visual communications/video production, design, web development, social media, digital marketing, lifestyle public relations, brand sponsorships, and entrepreneurship.
  • Opportunities to develop sector-specific expertise in areas of interest in lifestyle media, such as fashion, travel, beauty, food, and health.
  • A strong focus on social media, digital marketing, content creation, and web production, including analytics and measurement.
  • Participation in an industry field placement in an area of your interest.
