The Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a concentration in International Trade and Foreign Investment Law is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the public international law that governs international trade and investment. This program emphasizes the importance of these legal frameworks in addressing global issues, such as climate change and health crises. Program structure

The Master of Laws (LL.M.) program offers a flexible structure to accommodate various academic and professional goals. Students can choose from three options: a thesis, a major research paper, or a coursework option. The program is designed to be completed in the following durations:

  • Full-time: Expected to be completed within 12 months (3 consecutive terms).
  • Part-time: Expected to be completed within 28 months (7 consecutive terms).

Students can also participate in a collaborative program in Women's Studies, enhancing their academic experience. The program is available in both English and French, allowing students to complete their coursework in either language or a combination of both. This flexibility ensures that students can tailor their educational experience to their needs and preferences.
