Program Overview

The Business Intelligence Data Analysis and Reporting program at SAIT is designed to equip students with the essential skills needed to thrive in today's data-driven business environment. This program focuses on developing, analyzing, and administering corporate data, enabling students to assist businesses in making informed decisions. Through practical, hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like Microsoft SQL Server, students will learn to write SQL queries, manage databases, and understand data structures. Graduates will be well-prepared for various roles in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting, making them valuable assets in any organization.

Program Structure

The Business Intelligence Data Analysis and Reporting program spans a total of 23 weeks, divided into two semesters. The program structure includes:

  • One semester of full-time study
  • One semester dedicated to an eight-week practicum placement
  • In-person classes at the Main Campus or a blended format combining in-person and online learning

This program emphasizes practical experience, allowing students to apply their skills in real-world business scenarios. It is important to note that due to the integrated nature of the courses, credit for prior learning is not available. Students will also have the opportunity to prepare for relevant Microsoft certifications, enhancing their employability in the competitive job market.
