Join the only Forensic Science program in Canada accredited by the Forensic Science Programs Accreditation Commission (FEPAC). This program recognizes that our curriculum, labs, faculty, and research have met the highest standards set by the accreditation commission. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of forensic science through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing them for a successful career in this exciting field.
Program structure
The Forensic Science program at Ontario Tech University is designed to provide students with a robust educational experience. The program is offered as a full-time course of study with a length of four or five years. Students will engage in a variety of learning methods, including:
- In-class lectures and hands-on laboratory work
- Experiential learning opportunities, including a capstone project
- Research study and undergraduate thesis
Students will also have the option to specialize in one of three areas at the end of their first year:
- Forensic Biology
- Forensic Chemistry
