Enhance your Durham College GAS Certificate by applying the principles of scientific methods of psychology in this general arts and science transfer program. The Forensic Psychology program allows students to study core areas of psychology, including social, cognitive, developmental, and abnormal psychology. Students will also delve into research methods and data analysis, exploring various forensic psychology courses that apply psychological principles to crime, policing, the courts, corrections, and other aspects of the justice system. This program aims to develop unique knowledge and skill sets by incorporating elements of criminology, legal studies, health, and neuroscience.

Program structure

The Forensic Psychology - GAS Transfer program is designed to be completed in six semesters on a full-time basis. Students have the option to pursue part-time studies as well. The program is delivered in-class at Ontario Tech University, located in Downtown Oshawa, with a start date in September. Key features of the program structure include:
