Program Overview

The Network Engineering Technology diploma program at NAIT is designed for those who are passionate about technology and want to develop advanced skills in analyzing, optimizing, maintaining, implementing, and administering computer networks. This program focuses on hands-on learning, allowing students to dive deep into IT topics and gain practical experience in the field. Program Structure

The Network Engineering Technology program is structured to be completed in 2 years on a full-time basis. The program offers various delivery modes, including:

  • In-person classes, which are scheduled on weekdays during the daytime or evenings.
  • Upcoming intakes include a fall intake starting on September 2, 2025, and a winter intake beginning on January 8, 2026.

This program also includes options for work-integrated learning, allowing students to gain valuable experience in the field. Students can choose to participate in a co-op pathway, which includes a mandatory co-op work practicum, enhancing their employability upon graduation.
