The Educational Assistant program at NorQuest College is designed to prepare students for rewarding careers in educational and community settings. The Educational Assistant program is structured to provide a thorough educational experience over a period of 2 terms. This program includes:

• Inclusive classroom learning
• Hands-on practicum experience
• 200 hours of work experience from a practicum
• 45 hours from a practicum seminar

Students will have the opportunity to choose a start date that fits their schedule, with the next available start date being in September 2025. The program is designed to ensure that students not only learn theoretical concepts but also apply them in real-world settings, enhancing their readiness for the workforce.

Additionally, the program qualifies for a post-graduate work permit in Canada, allowing graduates to gain valuable work experience after completing their studies.
