Deliver compassionate maternity care with Mount Royal University's (MRU) Bachelor of Midwifery degree. This program is unique as it is Alberta's only accredited undergraduate midwifery program, offering an immersive learning experience. Students will engage closely with expert faculty and practicing midwives, combining classroom theory with hands-on clinical placements. The program prepares graduates to provide safe and empathetic prenatal, birth, and postpartum care, as well as newborn assessments and community health support. Upon completion, graduates are equipped to write the Canadian Midwifery Registration Examination (CMRE) and become registered midwives across Alberta and Canada.
