Program Overview

The Massage Therapy program at Mohawk College is designed to prepare students to become Registered Massage Therapists. This program focuses on teaching various theories and techniques essential for relaxation and rehabilitation. Students will learn to assess and treat physical dysfunction and pain in soft tissues and joints through hands-on manipulation, remedial exercise plans, and client education. Program Structure

The Massage Therapy program is an Ontario College Advanced Diploma that spans a three-year period, completed in 32 months. The program structure includes:

  • Hands-on clinical practice in a student clinic, supervised by Registered Massage Therapists.
