Academic Requirements

To apply for the Bachelor of Arts in Globalization Studies program, applicants must meet specific Academic Requirements. Here are the key points to consider:

General Requirements:

Applicants must provide an academic transcript indicating all subjects taken and grades earned.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

International Students:

International students, including those from Vietnam and other Asian countries, must submit the following:

Upper Secondary School Graduation and National Examination Results, including:
- Year 10, 11, and 12 Results (Hoc Ba) indicating all subjects taken and grades earned.
- High School Graduation National Examination Results indicating all subjects taken and grades earned.
- Diploma of General Education (Bang Tu Tai) / Upper Secondary School Graduation Certificate to be submitted directly to Huron.
All documents must be submitted in English or accompanied by notarized literal English translations if issued in another language.

Program Prerequisites:

Arts and Social Science: NO COURSE PREREQUISITES.
Management and Organizational Studies: Senior Level Math is recommended but not required.

Language Requirements

If you have not studied for a minimum of four years (including the final year) in an institution where the language of instruction is English, you are required to submit a satisfactory English Language Proficiency test score. Huron requires one of the following:

IELTS
- Minimum overall score: 6.5
- No section less than: 6.0
TOEFL (iBT) and Home Edition
- Minimum overall score: 83
- No section less than: 20
CAEL
- Minimum overall score: 60
- No section less than: 60
PTE ACADEMIC
- Minimum overall score: 58
- No section less than: 56
DUOLINGO
- Minimum overall score: 115
- No section less than: 100

Students who do not meet Huron’s English language requirement but are academically admissible will automatically be admitted into an Academic English program.

Huron offers students conditional acceptance into undergraduate studies pending final completion of an approved language program. Students who successfully complete the language program will not have to provide an English Language Proficiency test examination score.
