Academic Requirements

For students interested in the Bachelor of Arts - East Asia Studies (Blended Delivery) program, there are specific Academic Requirements that must be met. Here’s a detailed overview:

International applicants, including those from Vietnam and other Asian countries, must submit the following:

Upper Secondary School Graduation and National Examination Results:
- Year 10, 11, and 12 Results (Hoc Ba) indicating all subjects taken and grades earned.
- High School Graduation National Examination Results indicating all subjects taken and grades earned.
- Diploma of General Education (Bang Tu Tai) / Upper Secondary School Graduation Certificate (Bàng Tót Nghiêp Phó Thông Trung Hoc) to be submitted directly to Huron by the institution attended.

It is important to note that if your documents are issued in a language other than English, you must also provide notarized literal English translations.

If you have not studied for a minimum of four years (including the final year) in an institution where the language of instruction is English, you are required to submit a satisfactory English Language Proficiency test score. Huron requires one of the following:

Students who do not meet Huron’s English language requirement but are academically admissible will automatically be admitted into an Academic English program.

THE ENGLISH BOOST PROGRAM

Students who qualify take ESL in July and August before starting full-time at Huron in September.

ACADEMIC ENGLISH PROGRAM

After successful completion of the High Advanced Level, students begin full-time studies at Huron. The length of the program is dependent on English language proficiency.

Huron offers students conditional acceptance into undergraduate studies pending final completion of an approved language program. Students who successfully complete the language program will not have to provide an English Language Proficiency test examination score.
